Since the announcement that Reggie Yates and Holly Willoughby had left their presenting roles on BBC talent show The Voice, there was speculation of who’d fill their shoes.

And with Emma Willis confirmed as Holly’s replacement, the word on the street is that Marvin Humes could be taking Reggie’s place.

According to The Sun, Marvin would be co-hosting on the BBC show, making it his first permanent role since his stint as a guest presenter on This Morning with Rochelle Humes.

A source told the newspaper:

Marvin is nervous but excited. He’s got a few months to brush up on his presenting skills before the live show, but he’ll go straight into the recorded rounds very soon. Bosses reckon he and Emma will have great chemistry.

He’d be great as a host; his inoffensive face and forever cheerful mood is the kind of thing the BBC loves.

Marvin let it be known earlier this year that he’d like to present on the show so maybe the TV fairies have made his wish come true.
