Brandy headlined the Musicalize event at the Indigo2 last night, performing a selection of her hits old and new.

Following performances from supporting acts from the UK, Brandy took to the stage wearing an embellished bra and hotpants, complete  with a live band and two female dancers.

She began with some of the songs that helped her gain her iconic status; I Wanna Be Down, Sittin’ Up In My Room, Best Friend and Almost Doesn’t Count.

Brandy also paid homage to her close friend and the woman who inspired her own career, Whitney Houston, with performances of How Will I Know and I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

Switching between her earlier and slightly more recent songs, she went back and forth with tracks from her Full Moon, Brandy, Afrodisiac and Never Say Never albums.

Her personality was also on show for the night as the religious singer/actress  joked around with the audience even having a little “church” action as she jumped around on stage singing “Glory!” repeatedly.

Then moving on to her most recent works, Brandy sung songs from her Two Eleven album ending the set with her collaborative track with Chris Brown, Put It Down.

After thanking her audience, band and dancers, Brandy walked off stage to signal the ending of the night but after cheers from the crowd for an encore she came back out to perform The Boy Is Mine before truly leaving the stage for good.

For any fan of RnB from the 90s onwards, Brandy provided a show that allowed concert goers to watch a long-serving artist perform live and enjoy some true RnB.
