Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch has made it very clear that he would never allow Hollywood to make a biopic about his late daughter.
Speaking at the annual Amy Winehouse Foundation Ball at London’s Dorchester Hotel last night, The 62-year-old admitted that finding the right tribute for his daughter was difficult.
I don’t really want to do a biopic, but there’s a documentary film from the same people who did Senna coming out next year. A concert would be amazing, but it’s actually getting it together with the [record label]. It sounds great in theory, but in practice it’s not so easy. We are talking about it though.
Amy died of alcohol poisoning in July 2011 aged 27.
