The woman suspected of throwing sulphuric acid over Naomi Oni in December 2012 will stand trial early next year.
Mary Konye, an old schoolmate of Naomi, has been charged with intent to burn, maim, disfigure, disable or do grievous bodily harm to the victim.
Naomi was randomly attacked on 30 December 2012 after she made her way home from work at Victoria’s Secret in Westfield Stratford. She suffered severe burns to the face and had to undergo a number of reconstructive facial procedures.
Mary Konye will stand trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 6 January 2014. She has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
