ITV’s new director of daytime programmes, Helen Warner is planning on making some major changes to ITV’s daytime show Loose Women, by introducing some fresh new meat. And not just any meat. Ethnic meat.
The Saturday’ singer Rochelle Humes and actress Angela Griffin are rumoured to be joining the show. Denise Van Outen may also sit on the panel, if the reports are true.
Helen told the Loose Women team it was ‘too old, white and posh’ and believes some new panellists, who aren’t about to retire, will attract a younger audience.
At 24, Rochelle would be the shows youngest ever panellist , compared to 40-year-old Sally Lindsay, 66-year-old Janet Street-Porter and 55-year-old Linda Robson, who are all having their contracts changed and will appear on the show less often. Angela Griffin is 37, five years older than Jamelia.
Jamelia joined the Loose Women panel in November and has been stealing the limelight by wearing stylish outfits and showing off her immaculate hair.
The popular singer’s appearance has been praised by viewers of Loose Women who were happy to see a black woman take a seat on the show.
Nice to see a bit of colour on Loose Women in the shape of Jamelia. Gwan girl!

I don't know why some people are cussing about jamelia being on loose women, at least she is a black woman doing something

We’re not sure how it would work with Jamelia, Rochelle and Angela all on the panel at the same time, but maybe, just maybe we’d rush home from work, just so we could catch the younger generation take over Daytime TV.
