Southbank have launched a new festival that brings together all types of men, from different backgrounds and experiences, to explore what it means to be a man today.
Taking place over three days, men such as Nick Hornby, Akala, Jon Snow, Alastair Campbell and David Lammy MP, will discuss and explore a range of topics from fatherhood, gang culture and porn addiction, to what men really want.
Rapper and poet Akala praised the event as a chance to put to bed some myths and celebrate without gloating one half of the human species.
Being a Man offers something for everybody (not just the guys), and boasts a programme of Q&A sessions, talks, film screenings, music and performances.
Being a Man takes place at the Southbank centre from 31 January to 2 February. Head over to their site now for more details.
