Chipmunk may be in Krept and Konan’s bad books this year, after he publicly complained about French Montana releasing a remix to the duo’s Don’t Waste My Time track.

Chipmunk had recorded a remix of the track with the south London rappers, which was due for release sometime this year. Unfortunately for the Every Gyal star, French stole his thunder when he dropped his Mixtape Coke Boys 4 earlier today, which features his remix to the track with Chinx and Lil Durk.

Chipmunk told his followers that he would no longer be on the track because French had dropped his remix first, and seemed annoyed that all his work to help shape the UK rap scene was going unnoticed. Chipmunk was the one who introduced the track to the US rapper.

He has since deleted his tweets, but not before hundreds of people saw them:

I’m not on the Don’t Waste My Time remix anymore. Love the Song. Love Krept and Konan. But french Montana dropped his verse on his tape… UK rap will be respected. I do so much to help the scene. Shit like that just can’t go unsaid anymore.

Konan seemed confused by Chipmunk’s behaviour and called him out. And when I say called him out, I mean he asked him if he was using drugs…

Konan even tried to call Chipmunk, but his calls were ignored, so fortunately for the spectators the conversation remained on Twitter.

The Don’t Waste My Time remix has now been released with verses from Wretch 32, Fekky, French Montana, Chinx and the one and only Chipmunk. So you can stop crying now…
