Fashion’s latest darling, Lupita Nyong’o, may not have won the award for Best Supporting Actress, but she certainly took home the prize for best dressed at the BAFTAs last night.

The Mexican born actress, who starred in 12 Years A Slave, wore a stunning emerald green gown from Christian Dior, with a gold belt that pulled in her waist and matched with the jewellery on her wrists.

Lupita has been spotted in a number of glamorous dresses at past events, but this strapless gown has to be our favourite.

Now, we’re not sure if she just has really amazing dresses in her cupboard, or if it’s just impossible for her to look bad, but we’ve fallen in love all over again.

Lupita brought her mother to the BAFTA awards

The 30-year-old lost out to Jennifer Lawrence for her role in American Hustle, but didn’t let it get her down, and even posed for a ‘losers selfie’ with Best Supporting actor nominee Michael Fassbender.
